Why Join the DGMA?

As dental group practices are growing in number, size and   complexity, it has become clear that there is a need for professional management of these organizations. The dental group manager should be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative operation, so that dentists are free to provide quality dental care without the rigors and interruptions of business management.

Since there are few places which teach dental group management, the Association is designed to help members keep abreast of continuing changes in dental care services. The DGMA is the best possible source of information on the principles, mechanics, and techniques of management of the dental group practice. It affords its members an excellent network of practical, working managers as well as faculty and consultants who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise.

Who May Join the DGMA?

Membership is open to administrative and managerial staff members of dental group practices, employees of active members, and individuals or companies providing services, supplies or equipment to dental practices. Current members hold such positions as administrators, managers directors, faculty members, accountants, owners, vendors , and consultants.
